Carrie joined Redpoint at its inception having previously been with IVP. She started her career in PwC's tax department after obtaining her undergraduate degree in accounting from San Jose State University.

While at PwC, Carrie's clients included some of the top VC firms in the valley. It was during that time that she grew her network in the VC finance industry. Once on the "client" side, Carrie co-founded VCBC a non-profit network of finance professionals in the venture capital industry with a current membership at almost 500.

When asked what sets Redpoint apart from other VCs she will quickly say the people. The opportunity to work collaboratively with a smart, diverse, caring group of people can't be matched elsewhere.

In her spare time Carrie likes to travel, read and exercise.
